The Macuco trail is self-guided, and enters the jungle taking its visitors to the territory of the endemic Caí monkeys. Another hit of the Macuco trail is the Arrechea jump, a 23-meter-high waterfall of isolated height. The basin of this part of the Iguazú River is totally covered by the protected forest of the Iguazú National Park. Get picked up by a bilingual tourguide in any place from Foz do Iguaçu or Puerto Iguazu. As you are on a regular tour, there might be some more people on the tour. The fun starts in the Argentine Iguassu National Park with a beautiful hiking of about 2.5 miles on top of metal trails. Then go to the Brazilian Park to see the other side of the Falls on a hike of 1 mile on a concrete path. The lunch time will be at the Porto Canoas food area by the Brazilian Park.
